Cookie Lyon's Wardrobe: See Pics of the Empire Star's Furs, Miniskirts

Oh Cookie, how we love you!

It has only been three episodes since we were introduced to the neck-rolling, no-nonsense, firecracker on FOX’s new primetime hit Empire, and already — We. Can’t. Get. Enough.

Cookie Lyon (played by Taraji P. Henson) may have just been released from prison, but the character was sent down from the style gods to deliver a fashion feast that has Us wanting to teleport to a ’90s hip-hop video.

“Cookie is a woman who was just released from prison after serving 17 years for selling drugs,” the show’s costume designer Rita McGhee told the New York Post. “She took the rap for her man, and now she is ready to claim what she feels is rightfully hers. Now that she is a boss woman, she has to look like one.”

Join us now in fawning over Lyon’s candy-colored furs, luxe sunglasses, and more bits of her enviable fashion collection.

Cookie’s home! The ex-con left the iron-gate premises of her prison home in a plush velvet animal print minidress, long white fur coat, and gold heels.

Forget solid basics! Blazers should be bold and with animal prints, as seen in the pilot episode when Cookie had to reclaim her share of the booming hip-hop record label.

And fur coats! They should be pristine and bunch-up on the arms because, well, that spells luxury. (But we believe the faux variety is just as hot!)

Nothing says business quite like a form-fitting dress. It’s virtually meant for hammering down deals and swift monetary transactions.

Just what our closets were missing: a silver and black leopard jumpsuit with a plunging neckline.

A white-hot minidress with gold-capped booties sets the tone for mischief.

Cookie wore an emerald and black sequin minidress to dinner and left everyone with their mouths open as she said grace: “Do not withhold our blessings — even from hoes that hire skanks to spy on me. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.”

Thank You!

Take it from Cookie, you can never have enough leopard. The ex-con looked fierce in her animal-printed fedora, cocktail dress, and handbag.
